Vocational Rehabilitation Program

  

Overview:

Businesses who need to hire qualified individuals can utilize the Vocational Rehabilitation Program.  The Division of Rehabilitation Services operates a job placement network that pre-screens applicants with disabilities for employers. The Vocational Rehabilitation Program offers a wide variety of support services after a business has hired an employee from the program including:

  • Disability awareness training for current workforce to help integrate workers with disabilities into the workplace
  • Educational assistance
  • Evaluation and counseling
  • Help in making the transition into employment smooth for employer and employee
  • Help with assistive devices and interpreter services
  • Information on barrier removal and survey of accessibility of business
