Stepping Up to Job Success in Will County DVD is now available . . .
On behalf of Will County and the Workforce Investment Board of Will County, we are pleased to announce the release of a DVD with essential information that may be of value to those who are searching for employment or who are interested in skill-related training in Will County.
The Workforce Investment Board has identified targeted industries that have tremendous growth and employment potential in Will County. The newly-released DVD, Stepping Up to Job Success in Will County, highlights four of the largest industries in Will County that need employees in a variety of fields: construction, health care, manufacturing, and transportation-warehousing-logistics. One of the key messages of this DVD is that while special skill-related training is usually necessary, employment opportunities exist that are available with two years or less of specialized training that is available right here in Will County.
Will County has an excellent workforce system that offers many services that can help identify and locate viable jobs, as well as provide necessary screening, career advice and training.
